"Great spot for a quick breakfast. We enjoyed the creamed chipped beef over toast and blueberry pancakes. Bacon was cooked to perfect crispiness! Staff were friendly as well."

"The coffee was darn good for diner coffee. Service was fast and friendly, the food was hot and tastey. The place is clean and comfy as well. Me & Mrs P. Always sit in the diner part (same booth every time), they have an dinning room area in the back of the joint and if you need cash they have an ATM machine. Oh, if you like hot sauce ask for thier homemade hot sauce, its very good. #kulinarymafia approved!"

"We had gone to a diner up the street first because it was the closest to the rink holding our tournament. We called ahead because we knew there would be at least 25 of us, and they told us it was fine, come right over. When we arrived, the waitress was incredibly rude to us, so we left, and came to DK. We called ahead for this one too. When we arrived, we received some bewildered stares from the staff (there were definitely a little over 25 of us, and more young teens than adults), but we were seated immediately, as promised, and the staff was wonderful. We were served immediately, and the food was great. I can't remember our waitress' name, but she was so upbeat and accommodating, and the reports from the teens on the other tables' were the same. Great service, good food. We will absolutely be coming back."

The menu is as original as the atmosphere - think crispy Chicken Croquettes with mashed potatoes and gravy, and all the other classics. The prices are a pleasant throwback as well."

"True ‘greasy spoon’ diner experience. Typical diner fare at affordable prices with friendly staff. Food is fast and located right next to the courthouse. I usually get pancakes and bacon which have always been good. Make sure you bring cash, they do not take credit !"
